Like the title implies, this is a daily accounting of a single lady. Yes, I am religious. But, hopefully this will help somebody, somewhere who is struggling with being single and knowing that it is not just them.

April 9-15, 2011
Sorry that this is a four day post. Life has just been so hectic, lately. On Tuesday, I was asked to stay an extra three hours, and come back the very next day for my regular shift. So all I did was work, stay awake, and sleep. And the same ol', same ol' over the past couple of days.

Sorry that this is a double entry. This weekend has been a lot of fun.
On Friday, the next installment of the Narnian Chronicles was released, so it was a night of movies and pizza. In a world, that is so secular that a movie that is very religious and lots of people that see it and enjoy gives me such hope.
And on Saturday, some friends of mine planned a girls night on the town. Including a stay in a hotel. One completely fun night, just us single gals hanging loose and having fun on the town. If any of you single guys want to check out some awesome girls, let me know and I will hook you up.

Even though that being single is a hard, a lot hard. Going grocery shopping for one person is most likely infinitely easier. Getting what you like, what you want is nice. I have enough to last at least a month.
On another note, why is that those who are supposed to be of service, and did not do their job; are spending more time playing the blame game, get their bills passed, do their pet projects, and not balance their budget.

Today, one hundred and eight-one years ago, Heavenly Father's first prophet of the modern age: began a new church. Not only by following His by-laws, but the by-laws and constitution of this great land of ours. I just don't understand one thing, and this is something that I never will. The Founding Fathers guaranteed the nation's rights for Freedom of Religion, but a church that is christian and believes in the family is persecuted.
I have the feeling that it is time for a change. All night, I kept dreaming of some type of quest is coming. Any opinions on what it could be?

It is interesting that when everyone is having a hard time the one with out the family gets the blame

It was so nice to be able to some service, prior to attending conference. Some of my FB friends had invited me to sing between conferences, and then to attend the afternoon session on today. It was interesting what some of the protesters signs say; I don't know how a very conservative religion can be construed so interestingly.
I loved hearing what the apostles had said especially on families and service. And the higher calling (life) of marriage, and the men of the church need to stop playing around and step up. Elder Pratt gave some wonderful examples of how a marriage is, and that it was so much better than how the world views it.

It was so nice to hear from several General Authorities speak today. I don't know about you, but I really got a lot about doing more for others, reaching out to those that need to be reached out, and being single.
I really loved hearing that there are three more temples that are going to be built; sad news though folks; none of them are in the Middle East. No end of the world. YAY~!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I love knowing that Jesus and Heavenly Father cared enough about us to give us the signs that the end of the world can happen. So all of you Aztec (Inca) calendar, Nostradamus, or some such believers hold on to your caps, you are in for a long ride.
I am not saying that it is not quickly approaching, but as Revelations states, not even the angels of heaven knows when the end will come.

April Fools Day
For a day that is devoted to practical jokes, what am I doing starting a daily blog?
Maybe, in the end this will turn into a joke; but this is in the beginning to be earnest and sincere. Even in today's society of secularism, and it's nobody else's life but mine. I am just hoping that I will be able to maybe even make some new friends.
Yes, I am of the LDS faith. And that is my choice. My family is of different religions, paternally catholic, maternally LDS. And I was baptized at the ripe old age of nine. Participated in all of the activities and groups of the young. Even the dreaded Singles Ward, (dum, dum, dum). Several dating websites, enough that I probably would have paid for a college education by now.
I am in the third decade of my life, and not a single option on the horizon.
